1st Rafting Adventures and Papa Ardie's Concept in cooperation with Hot106.3FM presents Tatak Environmentalist, One Shirt.One Tree Project. For P250.00 worth of nice shirt that you buy, you get to plant a tree. Last August 22, 2009 was the launching of the project which is held at Only in Cagayan (OIC) Bar and Grill parking lot. Among the events highlight was the video presentation on Environmental issues and the flood calamity that hit Cagayan de Oro City last January 2009 and a performances of local bands and dancers. CDOBloggers also supported this project and the presence where felt at the event.

Miss Kagay-an 2009

Miss Kagay-an 2009 was held in Atrium, Limketkai Mall, Cagayan de Oro City. Cory Quirino and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan was one of the judges in the pageant. Among the 15 contetstants Miss Leira Monique Pabito won the Miss Kagay-an 2009. The top four were Lilyka Vic Alceta (1st runner up),Chiery Charmane Ladera (2nd runner-up), Emily Frances Rafols (3rd runner-up), and Amalia Margarita Misa (4th runner-up).

Happen last August 13-15 was the Kumbira 2009- the 13th Culinary Show and live Competitions. This event was held at the Atrium, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City. There were free food sampling, cooking demonstrations, flair tending competitions and trade exhibits on Food and Beverages, services, supplies and equipment in cooking.

Chamber of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industries of Northern Mindanao, Department of Agriculture RFU 10 and other various government agencies in Region 10 hosted an outdoor exhibits,SUNDAYAG.

SUNDAYAG which means show, presentation or exhibition is an annual event on Agro-Industry Exposition of Northern Mindanao. This year's theme "Showcasing the Best Potentials of Agri-Fishery Products of Region 10" of the Sundayag celebration is set to take place on 21 - 30 Agust 2009 at Provincial Capitol Grounds, Cagayan de Oro City.

Boto Mo, Ipatrol Mo: Ako Ang Simula in CDO

Happened last July 30, 2009, Wednesday at ABS-CBN compound Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City was the "Boto Mo, Ipatrol Mo: Ako Ang Simula" campaign. Many youths from several schools attended. There were series of activities happened since early morning and Sadsad Party in the evening. But the most important in the event is that there are many youths who take part and register for them to be able to vote for the 2010 election.
