Coca Cola's 2009 Halika!
div style="text-align: justify;"The span style="font-weight: bold;"Coca Cola's Halika! Caravan/span was successful last December 5, 2009 at Parking D, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro. This yearly nationwide charity workout is for the feeding program of the 343 below normal school children of Macabalan Elementary School which was spearheaded by the University of the Philippines Alumni Association-CDO Chapter./divdiv style="text-align: justify;"The Halika! Caravan started September 2005 by Coca Cola Philippines. Its a charity workout event that encourage volunteers to take a healthy and active living and donate to charitable causes by going through a physical activity routine developed by Fitness First. Coca Cola matched one peso to every calorie burned during these workouts and donate the total amount to various causes. The charity workout take place in five key cities nationwide among the cities where span style="font-weight: bold;"San Fernando/span, La Union; span style="font-weight: bold;"Cebu City/span, Cebu; span style="font-weight: bold;"Bacolod/span, Negros Occidental; span style="font-weight: bold;"Cagayan de Oro/span, Misamis Oriental; and span style="font-weight: bold;"Metro Manila/span. And this year, was the first for Cagayan de Oro to be one of the five cities that support these advocacy.br /The event last Saturday was hosted by span style="font-weight: bold;"Wilma Doesnt/span and span style="font-weight: bold;"DJ Geo/span of Killer Bee. Among who participated in the workout was University of the Philippines Alumni Association-CDO Chapter, students, different employees of government sectors and Congressman Rufus Rodriguez. For a good cause participants burn a total of span style="font-weight: bold;"242,367.35/span calories.
